Your first dental visit to our office is very important to us. In order to deliver you with the best, most comprehensive care possible, it is essential that we understand your health history and long-term dental goals. Certain medical conditions and medications can influence your treatment protocols - so please provide us with a list of your medications.
When we first meet with you, we will take time to listen carefully to all your dental concerns and do our best to answer all of your questions. Our leading-edge technology will help you come to a better understanding of your overall dental health. Our goal is to partner with you in reaching your health goals while providing you with comprehensive care in an atmosphere of comfort and trust.
During your first appointment, you can expect a comprehensive exam, which will include:
A review of your health history with Dr. Bui
A full series of digital x-rays
An evaluation of your jaw joints, soft tissues (gums) and teeth
An exam of the soft tissues to determine if you have developed or are at risk of developing gum disease
A non-invasive oral cancer screening and diagnostic pH Test
In order to provide you with a thorough, complete visit, please allow up to 2 hours for your first visit. We ask that you arrive 15 mins prior to your appointment time to check-in and complete your Patient Profile Forms. As an option to save time, you can also download the Patient Profile Forms from our website and bring the completed forms to your appointment.
Insurance
Family Tree Dentistry accepts most PPO insurance. Whether we’re in- or out-of-network with your policy, we will always try to maximize your benefits to help you meet your treatment goals. We are happy to complete a benefit verification prior to your appointment to provide you with the most accurate benefit and payment information at the time of your visit.

The Care Plan
At Family Tree Dentistry, we offer an In-House Membership Plan. As a member, you no longer fear the unknown cost of dental care and can say goodbye to: Annual deductibles, annual spending caps, waiting periods, and pre-existing condition exclusions for your dental care. Our goal is for you to achieve good dental health while providing our patients with financial peace of mind and transparency. Ultimately, your treatment should be determined on what’s best for your health - not by the level of dental coverage.

How often do I need to update my information?
To better serve you and provide you with the comprehensive care you deserve, updated Patient Profile Forms which includes your medical history are required once a year. Please arrive 15 mins early to complete these forms. As an option to save time, you can also download the Patient Profile Forms from our website and bring the completed forms to your appointment.
What can I expect if it’s been more than one year?
Welcome back! We’ve missed you. If it’s been a while, your visit back may require additional time as we thoroughly reassess your dental health.
Why is it important to confirm my appointment?
Your appointment is important to us. This time is reserved especially for you! We strive to make your visit with us as easy and comfortable as possible by preparing in advance. If you are unable to make your appointment, please give our office at least 24 notice. Due to high demand for appointments in our office, your reservation must be confirmed to honor this appointment.
What do I need to do for my appointment if I have braces?
In order to provide you with a thorough cleaning and accurate exam, (if you are in traditional braces) we recommend that you coordinate with your orthodontist to have the wires removed prior to your hygiene appointment with us.
What if I’m unable to call your office?
